Education Reform Now needed presentation materials for its Education Impact Collective initiative that could organize complex policy, fundraising, and member-engagement information in a clear and professional way. The presentation needed to feel polished and credible while giving the initiative its own visual identity.
The challenge was to create a deck that did more than hold information. It needed to help structure the message, guide the audience through the initiative, and make dense content easier to follow.
The goal was to design a presentation system for the Education Impact Collective that could support ERN’s education policy, fundraising, and advocacy communications. The presentation needed to introduce the initiative, explain its purpose, organize key messages, and create a consistent visual framework for related materials.
The primary audience included education policy stakeholders, funders, donors, civic-minded professionals, advocacy partners, prospective members, and supporters interested in education reform and collective impact.
The presentation also served internal and external communications needs by giving Education Reform Now a clearer visual framework for introducing the Education Impact Collective, explaining its purpose, and guiding conversations around policy, fundraising, and member engagement.
The project began with the design of the Education Impact Collective logo, which established the visual language for the presentation. The logo’s bold letterforms, blue and red color palette, stripe elements, and star detail became the foundation for the deck’s overall look.
The presentation design extended those elements into slide layouts, section breaks, information hierarchy, supporting graphics, and visual pacing. The goal was to make the deck feel connected to the EIC initiative rather than like a generic policy presentation.
The final presentation balanced visual identity with practical communication needs, creating a clear structure for explaining the initiative’s mission, membership, fundraising, and advocacy goals.
The creative direction was built from the EIC logo. Its civic visual cues, bold typography, and red-blue palette informed the presentation’s structure, section treatments, and overall rhythm.
The design combined civic energy with clean nonprofit communications. The deck needed to feel professional and policy-focused, but also active, clear, and engaging. Strong hierarchy, readable layouts, and consistent visual elements helped make complex information easier to navigate.
The finished project gave Education Reform Now a polished presentation system for the Education Impact Collective. The deck translated complex education policy, fundraising, and engagement messaging into a clearer and more visually consistent format.
The presentation created a flexible communications foundation for introducing the initiative, engaging members, and supporting advocacy conversations with a more professional visual presence.
